DLPRO 2000 SOFTWARE for the TC-2000 2-WAY PAGING TIME CLOCK

ELTEC’s DLPRO 2000 software allows remote control of the TC-2000 2-way paging time clock. It runs on Windows 2000, XP or Vista operating systems. The software allows the user to print a hardcopy listing all programs and schedules of remote sites. It maintains a history of the last 500 messages/pages sent.

The clock stores only one email address to which the unit responds to the following transmissions:

  • An annual program with exceptions
  • An alternate program
  • An immediate program
  • To turn ON or OFF relays manually
  • Time updates
  • To query the units regarding status (date, time, unit ID, program running, and relay state)
  • An email address change

DLPRO Software FEATURES

  • 99 Different Groups
  • 99 Locations/units Per Group
  • 99 Annual Programs: 1 per group; up to 20 steps each and 20 exceptions
  • Alternate Program Steps: up to 15 steps
  • Immediate Program: up to 15 steps
  • Manual Control of an individual remote clock
  • Individual Clock Query for status
  • Data Base of last 500 pages transmitted

Group Programming and Assignment: The software is capable is identifying 1-99 groups with each group containing multiple clocks. The unique group number assures that only the time clocks in a specific group will be paged. A menu box allows the user to view established group and/or units within the group. The user can also view the individual/unique annual program associated with each group. The annual program is considered the default plan for that group.

Annual Program: The system is capable of allowing for an annual program for each group defined. An annual program is defined by the school calendar which includes holidays, no school days and early dismissals. A group must have an annual program associated with it, and the annual program is the default program. The annual program includes start date, end date, group number and program number. The annual program will run indefinitely but is usually defined for a 12-month period. The annual program for each group may be copied from the annual master program to aid the user in program entry.

Location and Individual Unit Programming: Each group (see above) has the capability of accommodating up to 99 different programmable time clock location addresses. The programming of each site includes the location name, location type, group number and a unique ID number.

Alternate Program: An example of an alternate program is one that is unplanned for the defined year and would run for several days. For example, if a fire occurs and the signals need to be turned off for awhile, after which the TC-2000 would return to its’ annual program. An alternate program may include up to 15 steps. An alternate program includes the date that the program is to start and the date that it will end. An alternate program will operate from the scheduled start date and time through 12 AM/midnight of the end date.

Immediate Program: An immediate program is one that is unplanned on that day and erased at midnight of that same day. An example is early dismissal for pending snow, etc. At the end of the day, the TC-2000 returns to its’ annual program. It may include up to 15 steps. An immediate program runs only on the date that the program is transmitted to the remote location. An immediate program will operate from the time that it is received until 11:59:59 PM of the same date.

Manual Control: The program allows the operator to take instant control of any group or unit of flashers through the DLPRO Software. This is beneficial for immediate system testing.

Email Confirmation: After a group or unit is paged, each unit will respond with an email acknowledgement of what page (e.g. annual program, email address change, diagnostic, etc.) has been received. The operator identifies the units responding and compares the responding list against the transmission list. If a unit fails to respond, the operator then retransmits the message to that specific unit and the process is repeated.

The TC-2000 pager/programmable time clock and the DLPRO 2000 software is a propriety product from Electrotechnics Corporation.
