Eltec now offers 1-way paging making it the only company to offer a complete line of time clock products for school zone flashing beacon systems. We offer closed loop 2-way paging, 1-way paging, and traditional time clocks. A brief summary of each time clock follows.

1 TC 1500 1-way paging: The user can down load the annual program with all scheduled exceptions including holidays, early dismissals, and late starts with one page. The user does not have to send repeated and constant pages every week to ensure that the time clock has the 'right' program, thus significantly reducing the risk that a time clock will malfunction because it did not get the 'latest' schedule. In addition to the features in our tradition NTC 17E product line, the TC 1500 allows the user to send an immediate program to modify today's schedule or an alternate program to modify the schedule for several days. In both instances, the time clock returns to its annual program at the end of the day or the end of the period respectively without an additional page. The user may also control the time clock's relays manually. The NTC 1500 time clock has a display so that the user can verify the program in the clock without having to carry a hand held unit at all times. 2 TC 2000 2-way paging: This system provides closed loop feed back to the user with positive confirmation that the remote time clock received the page. The user can down load the annual program with all scheduled exceptions including holidays, early dismissals, and late starts with one page. The user has positive assurance that the remote unit received the page as the remote unit transmits an email to the user confirming receipt of the page. The user can also interrogate the remote unit for status and receive information regarding operation of the remote unit. In addition to the features in our tradition NTC 17E product line, the TC 2000 allows the user to send an immediate program to modify today's schedule or an alternate program to modify the schedule for several days. In both instances, the time clock returns to its annual program at the end of the day or the end of the period respectively without an additional page. 3 NTC 17E time clock: This time clock is an accurate programmable device that allows the user to enter the schedule for the entire year, including all holidays, early dismissals, and late starts. The time clock automatically adjusts for leap year and for daylight savings time (DST). DST may be disabled or set for other dates if desired. The program may be entered manually from the key pad, from another NTC 17E via a transfer cable, or from a lap top computer via an adapter and transfer cable.

Wet Road Sensor:

Eltec has developed a wet road sensor that controls a flashing beacon system when the sensor detects the presence of water, sleet, snow, or ice. The flashing beacon system will remain in the 'on' state until the road is clear of water (rain), sleet, snow, or ice. Although this sensor is can be placed in any location (up to 20' from the cabinet) where it is exposed to the elements, it is designed to be mounted in the shoulder of the road.

This system can be used in conjunction with a radio system to transmit a signal to a central location to advise personnel of activation of the flashing beacon system.

This system can be extremely cost effective when coupled with our solar power systems and can be placed in almost any location.
