FEATURES/OPTIONS

Systems are designed to operate 24 hours a day, or a programmable time clock can be added if limited operation time is desired (closed weekends, for example). During the working hours, LED activation is determined by each site’s traffic pattern. Some activation is manually controlled while some LED’s are triggered automatically. Various control methods are:

  • Motion sensors
  • Console mounted transmitter
  • Hand held transmitter

Sensor activated systems are ideal for restricted lane control, work zones and similar applications. In cases where vehicle admission is irregular, usually a hand held or dash mounted radio transmitter may be preferred.

Other considerations can be added such as emergency warnings for an imminent accident, environmental hazard or other analogous situations. The warning system can be a horn, bell or any device of your choosing. The emergency warning system uses a separate radio control; the interaction of the standard system does not trigger an emergency warning.
